* We had to change our litterplans. Fasu and Lumi were not affected by the chemistry of love as we people had planned. Fortunately, we weren't forced to think for a new groom for long and as the ultrasound shows Lumi and Nooa will have pups!

*In Jyväskylä Internationals Telma was BOB-puppy and Siru got Exc and became second in her class.

*In Hyvinkää groupshow we had Tatu receiving VG2, Uuka VG1, Siru VG2 and Vappu Exc1 BB2 along with Res-CC.
We also had Hanishan Breedergroup in the ring for the only time this year and we came out nicely with BIS1 !!! Thanks to all you people who stayed for the Final rings!

*Due to this autumn’s puppyplans Lumi visited the vet for eye testing (mild PPM) and thyroid panel (full panel OK).

*Nooa participated Estonian international show and decided to continue his BOS-success. Only this time he received also Est CC and Cacib. Boy and his treasures below :-).

*In Vantaa show Siru VG4 and after a long break in shows Nooa became BOS!

*Uuka won SuBa trackrace championships with very nice time and also finalized his TR CH on track as well! 
Iines was third in veterans.

*In Finnish Championship of Lure Coursing Uuka was sixth, Vappu eight and Tytti 13th.

*Siru visited unca vet and got good health results (full thyroid panel normal, eyes clean).

*In Jyväskylä trch-lure coursing Uuka 3rd and Zulu 7th, in bitches Vappu 5th and Tytti 11th.

*Uuka placed fourth in Lahti Derby LC after losing the lure in the first round. Zulu came second in open competition. Both boys were rewarded with CQ.

*Telma participated her first show in Farkkushow. She performed nicely and became second in bitchpuppies.

*In Mustiala LC Uuka decided to show that he has not yet given up and took the first place. At the same time he received his fourth LC CC. His daddy Zulu found some mysterious routes of his own in the finals and ran into fourth place. Also Siru had something else than the bunny in her mind and got disqualified. Telma's mother won her own class and in the same time finalized her LC CH-title. Gongratulations Wendy and owner-breeders Hanna and Kari! 

Uuka and Mirga 

*In Tuomarinkartano Race Derby there was an extremely exciting competition. The undersigned had her socks swinging during the tight race of winning the first round when Uuka showed his best by accelerating rapidly on the homestretch. However, Uuka had to notice that this time his speedy fellow competitor was quicker and he placed second with his own record (Ch time) this time from the longer track. Also Zulu took part in the position start and showed there's some gunpowder left in the old daddy-o by timing an Int time along with the second place. Way to go boys!

*In Karjaa show the judge was basenjibreeder Phyllis Poduschka-Aigner from Austria. Fasu was judged BD2 with Res-CACIB.

*In Hyvinkää Tähtisprintteri Race Uuka came second making his new record (Ch time). Well made Zulu as well; he was third.

*Vappu took part in Jämsänkoski show resulting VG2.

*Inka's eyes were tested clean.

*The strict judge of the Basenjispecialty was Jill Avis from UK. Males received only nine Excellents. One of them was Sunny's son Bruno who finally placed BD2. Fasu got VG. Bitches had their turn on the next day. Tinni with her lousy coat got VG but Siru, our own Siru truly surprised us and cleared her way to the top becoming BIS! In other words she inherited her mom's last year's title. Way to go! More specialty pics here.

*As in last year the Basenjiclub's LC-championship were held in Ilola. This year males and bitches had each their own competition. From our clan participated males Uuka becoming third with CQ and Zulu who was fifth.
In bitches race Iines didn't get to run more than in the first round as did Tinni who was disqualified. Vappu became 7th with CQ, Tytti third with CQ and winner along with CC and awesome final round score (262pts) was SIRU! This meant that Siru was crowned as the SuBa LC champion in her first lure coursing race!

*Telma is finally at HOME!!! In the pic below Tinni with her new lil' sis.

*Nooa met his vet; Thyroid normal, Eyes mild PPM, Hips A.

*Our new buddy is born! O'boy have we waited for her! I wonder how we can stand waiting until May for the pup to come home...

* In the Pohjois-Häme Kenneldistrict Spring Meeting Uuka was generously rewarded for his coursing achievements. As you may remember Uuka won the Pohjois-Häme Kenneldistrict's lure coursing Championship as well as the Finnish championships along with the third place in Finnish Track Race championships. He was also the winner of Basenji Club's lure coursing competition. We are soooo excited about the coming the season!

*A LOOOT has happened since the last news! Personally I found myself starting a new carrier and also returning back to worklife. I bought a small boutique in the Tampere Market Hall so practically every day is a business day for an entrepreneur, even after the closing hours...

Tinni had her puppies (3+3) on Dec 3rd with the kennel Sharaba and mom has also returned home already.

Uuka and Piki (1+2) had their puppies Dec 9th. Breeder is Saara Pykäläinen. 

Fasu and Dicta (0+8) had their puppies with the kennel Sternhimmels on Dec 25th.

Zico and Lilli's pups saw the daylight in the kennel Perrada Unican on Dec 21th and also Kimi and Senna had their offspring (3+1) in the same address. 

Both of Tatu's this year's litters were born on Christmas Eve. Sade had one girl in kennel Furahan and the bride from Sweden worked out 4+2 babies with the kennel Elegant Elephant.
