*In the Winner Show -06 from our basenji family there was participating Siru, Nooa, Lumi and Fasu, all receiving Exc.

In Jyväskylä internationals Siru was JunExc1 and BOB-junior!

*Tatu has been quite busy during the last week. A week ago he was visited by a girl called Sade and today by Umbra from Sweden. Umbra had to be treated twice during the same visit, just in case :-).

*In Finnish Basenji Club Lure coursing Race we once again felt moments of joy; Iines on shared 8th place, Zulu placed 7th after stopping due to a bee sting on the final lap. The crowned winner was Uuka! He also received his third lure coursing-CC and made a hat-trick by making three championships in lure coursing in this season. Congratulations UUKA and Mirga!!!

* In Hyvinkää show Tatu received VG2 and Siru VG1

*In Hyvinkää Lure coursing races Uuka placed 5th, Zulu 7th, Tinni 8t and Iines 13th.

*Tatu and Tinni participated in Ylistaro Lure coursing race. Running fine Tatu finished 5t in his first race. Tinni was 7th.

*In Porvoo show Tatu was VG2 in open class, Siru VG2 in junior class and Fasu Exc4 in Champion class.

*Amazing news from the Finnish Lure Coursing Championships 2006! Uuka beat the whole other gang and received title before his name: SMM-06! Congratulations Mirga and Uuka!!! It was his second Lure coursing-CC. What a guy; two wins out of two last races with tough competitors. Can "a mom" be anymore proud !

*Nooa's eyes are now checked. Result was mildly PPM.

*Siru competed for the last time in puppyclass in Hämeenlinna. She was BOS-puppy.

*In Estonian Winner Show Uuka received VG2, Tinni BB2 and CC so she is our newest Champion; Est CH.

*Jaakko and Tasha placed an order for offsprings. More info about the puppies from the breeder.

*Finnish Championships in track racing were held in Hyvinkää in Aug 13th. From our dogs the young runner-to-be Uuka was taking part and among a really high level group of runners he took 3rd place and the bronze medal. Congratulations Uuka and Mirga!

*We heard some really nice news from Raisio show; we have a new Finnish Champion in our team, namely Fasu! Thanks and congratulations to handler Tiina for the excellent handling!

*We got the statement of Boris's hip examination from the Finnish Kennel club and Jaakko's thyroid results came from his vet.

*New Puppies page updated!

*Once again a cosy day at the racetracks. Siru took part in groupshow in Ikaalinen and again she was the BOB-puppy. Congratulations Siru as well as owner-handler Elina! In Helsinki Lumi entered her first show and was placed 4th in bitchpuppies. Nooa was 2nd malepuppy with HP in Helsinki.

In the international lurecoursing race in Tampere Tinni was unfortunately disqualified. Instead of it, Vappu had her first start and resulted 8th with CQ, Tytti was 6th also with CQ and our wild boys from Hervanta surpised the whole crowd by taking the first two positions again! Zulu was on the shared 2nd place taking his third lure-CC and Uuka was celebrated as the winner as well as crowned as the Lure coursing champion of Pohjois-Häme Kennel District. He received his first CC also!

*Good news from the recent re-exam of Molla's eyes! Previously interpreted as cataract spot turned out to be only a PPM-spot.

*In Turku trackreaces Tinni again last. However, our boys took the best places; Zulu 2nd and Uuka the winner with CC-time! Not so bad from a first-timer ;-)

*In Pöytyä groupshow Siru BOB-puppy, Jaakko BD2+resCC, Uuka BD2, Vappu BB4 and Tytti BB2. In this show we got to participate in breeders' class and the result was flattering; BIS! !

*Tinni took part in her first track races yet so false pregnant as ever. Result was not more than taking the last place...

*Pontus visited Savonlinna show resulting with VG1.

*In Helsinki all breed show Siru was 2nd in puppyclass and Tatu BD3 with his second CC. 

*In Karjaa all breed show Siru was the BOB-puppy and this time Tatu got VG. 

*Tatu was BD2 in Jurva groupshow. 

*Our children have been tested very obediently. You will find newest results on the pages of Jaakko, Boris, Uuka, Iines and Tinni. 

*Fasu was BD1 and BOS in Salo all breed show. He received his second CC! Nooa was 2nd in puppyclass.

*Maisu made a visit in a show in Forssa and received G.

*In Pori all breed show Fasu BD4, Jaakko doing great in his first show finishing BD2 and CC, Vappu BB3+resCC and Tytti-mommy BOB+GROUP3 ! This was even more than excellent result when considering that her 6-headed litter is only 4 mths old !

*We had an especially exciting day in the Finnish Basenjiclub Specialty.
From our Hanishan clan in the Puppy class there was Nooa who was not placed this time as well as Siru who placed third with HP. There were 18 puppybitches. 
Uuka took part in the Youth class and got VG.
Fasu and Zulu participated in the Open class. Both received Exc and Zulu won the class! In the Best dog ring he placed second and received CC which made him a new Finnish Champion! Congrats Zulu and Mirga!
From our bitches there were Senna and Vappu in the Youth class. Senna got G and Vappu Exc.
In the Champions' class we had Tytti receiving VG and our lovely funny little Tinni... she got Exc, won her class as well as Best Bitch ring and... DADAAAAAA... was chosen as THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BASENJI IN THE SHOW ! In other words, her last year's placement as BOS improved by one step :-).

The Hanishan breeders group was BIS3.
On his side Zulu created some extra heartbeats to his owners due to his win in the progenyclass along with his beautiful offspring! In the team there was Vappu, Uuka, Petty and Rudi. Also worth mentioning is that Petty and Rudi both won their own classes. 

As you can see this was a quite a nice day for us. We took home BIS, BIS-progeny and one new Champion as well as armful of happy feelings :-).
Warm thanks to all who congratulated us! We also want to thank every owner of Hanishan basenjis who participated in the show. For your extra pair of hands: thank you, Hannele and Elina!

*Uuka participated a Match show practising for the coming specialty. He managed quite well: BIS1! Congratulations Uuka and Mirga !

*Today our Lupsu-Lumi left for her own home. After all this missy turned out to be a girl of da' hood :-).

*Warm congratulations to the father of our G-litter, Rico (Kanjaras Thanos Tibalt) for his BOB as well as finalizing his champion-title!

*Zulu and Iines participated in qualifying races for European Lure Coursing Championships. Zulu became fabulously second with 459 points and receiving also his second CC in lure coursing! At the moment we don't know Iines' points.

*Siru and Nooa participated in Somero puppyshow. They resulted great: Nooa was BOS-puppy and Siru BOB-puppy as well as BIG-4. Kids took part also in the couples-competition resulting fabulously BIS2. Congrats you two well-behaving pups and owners too!

*Siru entered her first show in Tampere puppy show. She was the BOS-puppy!

Elsewhere Tinni-mommy, Boris and Iines were lure coursing. Boris had other things in his mind than bunny and was disqualified. Iines got 139points. Tinni ran quite nicely although the damn muzzle was too much in the finals... Despite that, she scored 236+192=428p and CQ being 7th.

*Zulu participated in season's first trackrace. He needs still some speed adjustment but boy is he eager!

*Boris visited Pori groupshow and got VG. BOB was Sharaba 
Rise'n Shine and BOS her littermate Sharaba Rags to Riches. The father of these BOB and BOS beauties is our Zulu. In the meanwhile Senna received VG being the first of her class in Turenki groupshow.

*Tinni and Boris started their running season with an unofficial lure coursing race resulting fine achievements: Boris 8th with 234pts and Tinni 6th with 250pts out of 18 competitors in the same class. Runners have some new photos of this topic on their own webpages. Thanks for them Timo and Marjukka!

*Nooa participated in a Match Show. He was Red No. 1 and BIS3!

*The latest update of my website was the hardest I've ever done. Sunny, my dear Sunny has gone... Monday, Jan 16th a vehicle on a wrong time and extremely difficult road conditions were fatal to our small and beautiful butterfly. I miss her so much I can't find the words to describe it. Feels like my heart was crushed... My beloved, rest in peace. Some day we'll meet again...
